Our Hunting Directives

Our hunting directives are restrictions on provincial regulations and must be respected in the same way as our own by-laws.

Deer Hunting Directive

D1- Deer hunting directive to protect young male

The aim of this directive is to protect young male deer.

Hunting directives from 2011 and subsequent years. (Accepted at the AGM of May 7, 2011 and adjusted at the April 20, 2024, AGM)
For several years now, we’ve been putting forward this deer hunting directive every year. In 2011, we adopted it as an annual directive. At the AGM on April 20, 2024, we adjusted the text to reflect today’s reality and to harmonize with the RTLB rule (Restriction on the Legal Size of Rack).

Moose Hunting Directive

The purpose of this directive is to maintain a balance between hunting and conservation of the moose population in our territory.

As in previous years, and for this season, only one adult bull moose with antlers of 10cm or more may be harvested within the Compton County Hunting and Fishing Club.
