Bring your lunch !

Please bring your own tools to carry out the work. As usual, we ask that you bring your chainsaws, wood splitters, brush cutters, shovels, rakes, trailers, ATVs, metal detectors, etc.

Here are the tasks to be completed this fall :

  • Clean all windows. (2 volunteers)
  • Clean the basement entrance and basement. (2 volunteers)
  • Take apart the pool table. (2 volunteers)
  • Install air conditioning in the container. (2 volunteers)
  • Caulk the front of the camp. We will provide the caulking and caulking guns. (4 volunteers)
  • Clean the BBQ and cooking surface. (1 volunteer)
  • Cut the long grass around the camp, under the stairs, and on the access ramp. (1 volunteer)
  • Use the brush cutter to cut the grass along the following paths: Huard, Rich, Bacon, and the path leading to the orchard. (2 volunteers)
  • Then the artesian well: rebuild the wooden frame with 2×10 planks. We will provide the wood and screws. Add an incandescent bulb to heat the well chamber. (2 volunteers)

  • On Bacon Road, collect and cut wood. Cut it into 16-inch pieces, split it, and stack it in the shed. 4 to 6 volunteers (wood splitter needed)
  • Fill the gravel holes on the campground road. (2 volunteers)

Need 8 volunteers

  • Fall barrier: replace the temporary rope with a barrier. (2 to 4 volunteers with chainsaw and sledgehammer)

Need 12 volontiers – Required equipment: (Mountain bike, chainsaw, brush cutter, personal protective equipment)

Director in charge Glenn Vallée

  • Block the entrance to the Ski-Doo trail at the end of Road 93 to prevent trespassing vehicles from entering the club. (4 volunteers)
  • Replace faded club signs around the camp and along the club’s various trails. (Route 212, Route 210, Chemin Tanguay, Chemin Rivière-du-Nord, along the snowmobile trail, etc.) (8 volunteers)

  • Ensure that signs are installed at the 13 sites for pheasant hunting.
